Features and comparisons:
Looks-wise, the new version is slightly taller at 8 inches than the old version at 7.5 inches.
WhisperNet network coverage covers more areas; additionally it offers an amazing range of around 230,000 titles with 7,000+ free public domain classics, etc.
The WhisperSync feature present in the new version has also been upgraded on old version which makes both gadgets really cool. The feature allows readers to share books, as well as point out the exact position in the book you want your friend to know.
There are 16 level gray screen shades available in the new version making the image sharper than the previous version which had only four levels.
The new version weighs 0.1 ounces lesser than the old version, which is bulkier.

For customers who want a replaceable battery or extend storage space, the old version might be better option than new version.
